Texas A&M fans didn’t have a ton to cheer about with a disappointing 7-6 season, but they have plenty to whoop about today.
Receiver Ryan Swope announced on his Twitter account today — he’s not much of a tweet guy; you’ve been warned — that he will come back for one more year with the Aggies as they transition into the SEC.
“Looking forward to wearing maroon and white one more season! Can’t wait to play for Sumlin and be apart of something special. Gigem!” Swope said.
The junior from Westlake HS had a great 2011, catching 89 passes for 1,207 yards — both single-season school records — and 11 touchdowns.
