Texas A&M President: South Carolina will be Aggie's SEC rivalry game

Texas A&M dropped rivalries with Texas Tech , Baylor and most notably Texas when they decided to move on to the SEC.
With that move left a void in their schedule on the last weekend of regular season player when other SEC schools play their rivalry games.
A&M would have loved to play LSU, who they have the most history with of the SEC team, but their schedule is full of rivalry games to close the season. Florida closes each each year against Florida State.
So, with the Aggies leaving for a new conference and on a bad note with Texas it was assumed Missouri would become A&M's designated rival.
That changed this past weekend when rumors began to spread that South Carolina will no longer be Arkansas' cross-division rival. Instead the Gamecocks will be Texas A&M's newest rivalry game.
Texas A&M President, R. Bowen Loftin, confirmed the matchup on his twitter account on Monday saying, "Just had a great conversation with the South Carolina president about our permanent SEC rivalry. We will make this very special!"
