A&M captain Hal Moseley ends the game with 28 minutes to play after disputing a referee's decision. The Battalion's account says, "Our players proved they have grit/And played an honest game./The referee robbed them 6 to 0./They held Varsity just the same."

QB Semp Ross is the star of the first Thanksgiving game.

Arnold Kirkpatrick's TD on a fumble return is the only score. In the wake of postgame fan incidents, Texas informs A&M it will not resume the series, citing "the heated state of opinion among students and alumni of both institutions."
1915: Texas A&M 13, Texas 0
In the first Southwest Conference season, with Moran departed and Texas having agreed to play in College Station for the first time, Rip Collins averages 44.6 yards on 23 punts and scores a second-half TD after one of 12 Texas fumbles. Before the game, Moran writes to his former players, "If you still love me and think anything of me, beat Texas."
1916: Texas 21, Texas A&M 7
In the first Thanksgiving game since 1909, Rip Lang scores on a 40-yard Statue of Liberty play, and Billy Trabue scores on a 65-yard punt return.
1917: Texas A&M 7, Texas 0
Tackle Dunny McMurrey, a short-yardage specialist, scores the only TD on a 1-yard run for the Aggies, who are unscored upon in their first year under coach D.X. Bible.
1918: Texas 7, Texas A&M 0
Bill Ellis scores the only TD.
1919: Texas A&M 7, Texas 0
Roswell Higginbotham scores the only TD for the Aggies, who are unscored upon in 10 games.
1920: Texas 7, Texas A&M 3
Francis Domingues' 4-yard TD run, set up by Bill Barry's halfback pass to Tom Dennis, is the only score the Aggies allow in 1920.
1921: Texas A&M 0, Texas 0
A&M holds the Longhorns three times inside their 5-yard line, and lineman Tiny Keen blocks two field-goal tries. It is believed to be the first game on wireless radio, with coded game details transmitted from station 5Y-A (now WTAW) in College Station to Austin.
1922: Texas A&M 14, Texas 7
Bible draws a line on the field at halftime and says, "Those who want to go out and be known as members of an A&M team that defeated Texas in Austin, step across this line." E. King Gill, the original 12th Man, has a TD catch and sets up a score with a 25-yard reception.
1923: Texas 6, Texas A&M 0
Texas wins for the first time at College Station when Clem Pinson fumbles on a punt return and Buddy Tynes recovers for a TD, the Longhorns' first score in five visits to Kyle Field.
1924: Texas 7, Texas A&M 0
In the first game at Memorial Stadium, Rosy Stallter's pass is tipped by A&M defenders to Stookie Allen for a 52-yard TD.
1925: Texas A&M 28, Texas 0
The Aggies score twice on turnovers, including Siki Sykes' 92-yard interception return, in the first game broadcast on radio. Gen. Ike Ashburn, commandant of the A&M Corps of Cadets, calls the action.
1926: Texas 14, Texas A&M 5
Bill Ford and Clint Slover catch TD passes.
1927: Texas A&M 28, Texas 7
Joel Hunt has two TD runs and a touchdown pass.

Ed Beular throws two TD passes in Bible's final game at A&M.

A&M uses the "Hideout Play" to set up its first TD after a scoreless first half and holds Texas to three first downs en route to the national title.

Noble Doss' "Impossible Catch" for 32 yards on the opening series sets up Pete Layden's 1-yard TD run to end A&M's 20-game win streak and costs the Aggies a chance at the Rose Bowl and a repeat national title.

Fortune teller Madame Augusta Hipple advises the Longhorns to burn candles for luck, and the Longhorns roll up 418 yards.
1942: Texas 12, Texas A&M 6
Jackie Field's 12-yard TD run in the final minute gives Texas its first Cotton Bowl berth.
1943: Texas 27, Texas A&M 13
A&M breaks on top with the fumblerooski play, but Texas rebounds for its second win in a row at Kyle Field.

Bobby Layne scores on a 9-yard run on Texas' opening series.

The Aggies score their first TD from scrimmage at Memorial Stadium, but the Longhorns allow just 27 yards in their final game under Bible.

Layne has a TD pass and scoring run in his final regular-season game and the Aggies' swan song under Homer Norton, coach of the 1939 national champions.
1948: Texas A&M 14, Texas 14
Charley Wright catches a deflected pass for a 72-yard score as the Aggies stall Texas' streak of 12 consecutive wins at Memorial Stadium.
1949: Texas 42, Texas A&M 14
Byron Townsend runs for 138 yards, and Paul Campbell throws for 139.
1950: Texas 17, Texas A&M 0
With coach Blair Cherry, who had announced his resignation, hospitalized for treatment of an ulcer, the Longhorns bottle up A&M fullback Bob Smith.
1951: Texas A&M 22, Texas 21
Yale Lary scores in the third quarter on a 68-yard run and a 37-yard pass from Darrow Hooper. The Aggies win at home for the first time since 1939.
1952: Texas 32, Texas A&M 12
Texas backs Gib Dawson, Billy Quinn and T Jones run for more than 100 yards each, and Richard Ochoa adds 97.
1953: Texas 21, Texas A&M 12
Delano Womack has 103 rushing yards and a TD.
1954: Texas 22, Texas A&M 13
Charley Brewer throws two TD passes, but Texas needs a late field goal to clinch the win over Paul Bryant's Junction Boys.
1955: Texas 21, Texas A&M 6
The Longhorns keep the Aggies from the SWC title, holding A&M to three first downs and 97 yards.
1956: Texas A&M 34, Texas 21
John David Crow is the first A&M player to score a touchdown in Memorial Stadium's south end zone.
1957: Texas 9, Texas A&M 7
In Darrell Royal's first season, Bobby Lackey accounts for all of the Longhorns' points on a 1-yard run and 28-yard field goal in the Aggies' final regular-season game under Bryant.
1958: Texas 27, Texas A&M 0
Rene Ramirez, the "Galloping Gaucho," has two TD runs and catches a touchdown pass.
1959: Texas 20, Texas A&M 17
After trailing 10-0 at halftime, Texas drives 75 yards in 14 plays for the game-winning score on Lackey's 10-yard run.
1960: Texas 21, Texas A&M 14
Texas scores on three first-half drives totaling 77 yards.
1961: Texas 25, Texas A&M 0
Texas pulls away in the second half with James Saxton's 46-yard TD pass to Jack Collins and Jerry Cook's 2-yard TD run after his 42-yard interception return.
1962: Texas 13, Texas A&M 3
A&M gets three points in three first-half red-zone trips, and the Texas defense holds the Aggies to 36 yards in the second half.
1963: Texas 15, Texas A&M 13
After trailing 13-3, Texas wins with a 2-yard TD run by Tommy Ford and, after one of the most controversial plays in the history of the series, a 1-yard TD run by Duke Carlisle with 1:19 to go en route to the national title. A&M thinks it has a game-clinching end-zone interception by Jim Willenborg before the Carlisle score, but the pass is ruled incomplete.
1964: Texas 26, Texas A&M 7
Tied 7-7 at halftime, the Longhorns again rally in the second half.
1965: Texas 21, Texas A&M 17
The Aggies out-snooker Texas with Gene Stallings' Texas Special, a bounce-lateral from Harry Ledbetter to Harry Kauffman, who throws to Dude McLean for a 91-yard TD. Texas trails 17-0 but rallies on Marvin Krystinik's TD pass to Pete Lammons and two Jim Helms TD runs.
1966: Texas 22, Texas A&M 14
Sophomore Chris Gilbert runs for 137 yards as the Longhorns win for the 10th consecutive year under Royal.
1967: Texas A&M 10, Texas 7
Edd Hargett's 80-yard TD pass to Bob Long in the fourth quarter clinches the SWC title for the Aggies in their first win over Texas since 1956, Stallings' senior season.
1968: Texas 35, Texas 14
The Longhorns score five first-half TDs and intercept Hargett five times, four by Bill Bradley.
1969: Texas 49, Texas A&M 12
With the wishbone in full cry, the eventual national champions score on six of their first eight possessions.
1970: Texas 52, Texas A&M 14
Danny Lester catches two TD passes from Eddie Philips, and the Longhorns total 603 yards.
1971: Texas 34, Texas A&M 14
The Ags suffer five turnovers in their final game under Stallings.
1972: Texas 38, Texas A&M 3
The Longhorns wrap up an unbeaten SWC season by extending to 13 the number of consecutive quarters in which they did not allow a TD.

The Longhorns run for 373 yards without a pass.

A&M blows a chance to clinch the SWC title with two fumbles in the first 54 seconds that led to Texas TDs. Earl Campbell has 127 yards as Royal's record against A&M runs to 17-1.
1975: Texas A&M 20, Texas 10
A&M's defense, led by Robert Jackson, Ed Simonini and Pat Thomas, holds Texas to 170 yards and six first downs.
1976: Texas A&M 27, Texas 3
George Woodard has 109 yards as the Aggies win back-to-back for the first time since 1909-10 in Royal's next-to-last game.
1977: Texas 57, Texas A&M 28
En route to the Heisman Trophy, Earl Campbell runs for 222 yards and three TDs for the No. 1-ranked Longhorns.
1978: Texas 22, Texas A&M 7
Texas holds Curtis Dickey to 11 yards on 15 carries with a safety.
1979: Texas A&M 13, Texas 7
Dickey has a 20-yard TD run, and the A&M upset knocks Houston from the Sun Bowl to the Cotton, Arkansas from the Cotton to the Sugar, and Texas from the Sugar to the Sun.
1980: Texas A&M 24, Texas 14
Held to one first down in the first half, the Aggies score on four second-half drives.
1981: Texas 21, Texas A&M 13
Third-string running back John Walker runs for 178 yards and a TD, and QB Robert Brewer has a scoring run and a TD pass.
1982: Texas 53, Texas A&M 16
Texas rolls after scoring on its first play, RB Darryl Clark's 87-yard TD pass to Herkie Walls after an A&M turnover.
1983: Texas 45, Texas A&M 13
After trailing 13-0, Texas gets the 30 mph wind at its back and scores 45 points in 14:08 of the second and third periods, including four TD passes by Rick McIvor.
1984: Texas A&M 37, Texas 12
The Aggies lead 287-80 in rushing yards and score their most points ever against the Longhorns.
1985: Texas A&M 42, Texas 10
Kevin Murray throws three TD passes as A&M clinches its first SWC title since 1967.
1986: Texas A&M 16, Texas 3
Murray throws for 277 yards and a TD as A&M clinches a repeat SWC title in Texas' final game under coach Fred Akers.
1987: Texas A&M 20, Texas 13
Freshman QB Bucky Richardson scores the game-winner as the Aggies win four in a row for the first time.

Darren Lewis rushes for 212 yards and a TD as the Aggies win their final game under coach Jackie Sherrill.

After pregame pushing and shoving, the Aggies take the lead on Lance Pavlas' 45-yard TD pass to Percy Waddle on the final play of the third quarter.

LB Brian Jones and the Texas defense stop A&M on a two-point conversion try to end the Aggies' six-year win streak.

Kevin Smith's 73-yard TD on a punt return helps wrap up an unbeaten SWC season.

Rodney Thomas runs for three TDs, and Aaron Glenn provides the coup de grace with a 95-yard interception return.

Dennis Allen's interception ends the Longhorns' final threat, and A&M wins its record 21st consecutive SWC game.

Brandon Mitchell's 48-yard TD on an interception return symbolizes A&M's dominance in its 10th win in 11 years.
1995: Texas 16, Texas A&M 6
Ricky Williams runs for 163 yards, and Texas forces five turnovers to clinch the final SWC championship.
1996: Texas 51, Texas A&M 15
After leading 17-9 at halftime, Texas stops A&M on a fake punt early in the third quarter and scores on five consecutive possessions.
1997: Texas A&M 27, Texas 16
D'Andre Hardeman and Dante Hall top 100 rushing yards, and R.C. Slocum sets an A&M record for career coaching wins in the Longhorns' final game under John Mackovic.
1998: Texas 26, Texas A&M 24
En route to the Heisman Trophy, Williams runs for 259 yards to set the major-college career rushing record, and the Longhorns win it on Kris Stockton's 24-yard field goal with five seconds to play.
1999: Texas A&M 20, Texas 16
Eight days after 12 people die in the collapse of the A&M Bonfire stack, A&M rallies from a 16-6 halftime deficit to win on Randy McCown's 14-yard TD pass to roommate Matt Bumgardner.
2000: Texas 43, Texas A&M 17
Chris Simms throws for 383 yards, and Texas scores on its first six second-half possessions.
2001: Texas 21, Texas A&M 7
RB Cedric Benson scores twice in the final eight minutes.
2002: Texas 50, Texas A&M 20
Simms throws three TD passes, and Texas forces six turnovers that lead to 22 points in A&M's final game under Slocum.
2003: Texas 46, Texas A&M 15
Benson runs for 283 yards, a record for an A&M opponent, and four TDs.
2004: Texas 26, Texas A&M 13
The Longhorns record eight sacks and get a rare one-point safety when the Aggies try to return a blocked PAT attempt but fumble into their end zone.
2005: Texas 40, Texas A&M 29
Brothers Michael and Cedric Griffin team up for a blocked punt and return TD as the Longhorns move toward the national championship.
2006: Texas A&M 12, Texas 7
QB Stephen McGee's 8-yard run is the game-winner as A&M ends a six-year losing streak.

McGee throws for 362 yards and three TDs, and A&M coach Dennis Franchione announces his resignation.

Colt McCoy accounts for four TDs as the Longhorns record their largest victory margin since 1898.
2009: Texas 49, Texas A&M 39
McCoy throws for 304 yards and four TDs and runs for 175 yards and a score, but the clincher is Marquise Goodwin's 95-yard TD kickoff return in the fourth quarter.
2010: Texas A&M 24, Texas 17
Cyrus Gray runs for 223 yards, the most allowed by Texas to an A&M player, with TD runs of 84 and 48 yards.Note: Except where noted, all games before 1911 were played in Austin. Beginning in 1915, games were played in odd-numbered years in College Station and in even-numbered years in Austin.
